Introduction:
317 Stainless steel pipe has very excellent corrosion resistance, it especially resists pitting in phosphoric and acetic acids and also has very excellent intergranular corrosion resistance. The cost of 317 is relatively higher than 316/316L (contains 10% Nickel minimum) stainless steel as it contains 11% Nickel minimum.
